Internet Habits of Kate's Family
In Kate's family, everybody uses the Internet for variety purposes. They are not addicted to the Internet, but
they think that it is useful for each of them. For example, Kate generally surfs social networking sites and
checks notifications. Her mother, Suzy, always looks for new recipes. It is her favourite Internet activity.
She also reads the news online. Her father, Tim, generally uses the Internet for checking his e-mails. He
sometimes looks at his facebook account. He also likes sharing his photos. Her sister, Tiffany, is a university
student. She always uses the Internet for practicing her French because she has got some difficulties about
her language class. She often browses articles about her lessons, too. She also likes watching foreign
series on the Net.

Kaitlyn: Today most of people sit in front of their computers and spend too much hours online. In my opinion,
this may become them addicted to the Internet, even worse they may have some concentration and health
problems.

Gabriel: In my view, the Internet helps us reach the information more effectively. It is time-saving and more
comfortable because we can do many things online such as paying the bills, checking our bank accounts and
buying tickets without going out.

Ashley: People do almost everything in their daily life using the Internet. However, they usually prefer staying
at home and doing something online to going out and spending time with their real friends and relatives so,
they are getting worse at face-to-face communication.
