DIALOGUE - 1:
Mike: Hello, Mike speaking.

Susan: Hi, Mike. It’s Susan. Is your sister there?

Brenda: Ooh! Hi, Susan. What’s up?
Susan: I’m doing well, thanks. Do you have a plan this Sunday evening? We’re meeting

friends at 7.00?

Brenda: Oh, sorry. Can you repeat that, please?

Susan: We’re meeting friends this Sunday evening at 7. Would you be interested in
joining us?

Brenda: That would be great! OK, see you on Sunday then.

Susan: See you.

DIALOGUE - 2:

Secretary: Oxcorp Company. How can I help you?

Mr. Carter: Hello! This is Mark Carter. Could you put me through to Mr. Johnson, please?

Secretary: Can you hold on a moment, please? I’ll connect you. (The phone rings three

times.) I’m sorry. He’s not available at the moment. May I take a message?

Mr. Carter: Sure. Can you please tell him that Mark called?

Secretary: Of course, sir. Goodbye.
